A Twitter executive admitted in undercover video by Project Veritas that his company is not making a profit due to its woke ideology, claiming the goal is not to “give the people free speech”, but to advance a leftist ideology.
Twitter’s Lead Client Partner Alex Martinez criticized new owner Elon Musk’s aim to restore free speech on Twitter, saying the company has a responsibility to ensure the public sees the “correct things” on the platform.
“The rest of us who have been here believe in something that’s good for the planet and not just to give people free speech,” Martinez said. “People don’t know how to make a rational decision if you don’t put out — correct things that are supposed to be out in the public, right?”
Martinez also admitted that Twitter is unable to turn a profit due to the company’s censorship culture.
“If we’re implementing all these rules…and Elon wants to dismantle them, then technically our ideology has led us to not making money because we’re not making money, and Elon wants to turn it the other way so that we can make money,” Martinez said.
The Twitter client even mocked Musk having Asperger’s syndrome, calling him a “loony tune.”
“He has Asperger’s, so, he’s special,” Martinez said, “We all know that and that’s fine. So here, no one’s going to say some f**king crazy sh*t because he’s special.”
“I’m like…you’re special needs! You’re literally special needs, literally though, you really are. So, I can’t even take what you’re saying seriously cause you’re special,” he added.
Funnily enough, Martinez even discussed Twitter’s effort to get ahead of Project Veritas exposés a day after another Twitter engineer was caught in undercover video admitting that everyone at the company is “commie as fuck.”
“It’s [Project Veritas] like some group that’s just trying to out the employees,” Martinez said. “Like, they’re trying to go on dates with them, like this, and record them.”
Musk reacted to this latest Project Veritas exposé on Tuesday.
“Twitter exec trashing free speech & mocking people with Asperger’s,” he tweeted, adding a sad face emoji.
