Activists push back against lockdown orders

Over 100 Californians joined actor and Christian activist Kirk Cameron for a Christmas caroling event on Tuesday night.
The large group was caroling outside The Oaks mall, right next to a COVID-19 testing center in Thousand Oaks.
Representatives of the mall released a statement, saying, “The event occurring at The Oaks at this moment is a non-sanctioned event.”
After Cameron’s first caroling event last week, Thousand Oaks Mayor Claudia Bill-de la Pena questioned the actor’s religious morality.
“Liberty and freedom are very fragile and they come with great responsibility. Continuing to hold large gatherings and ignoring all guidelines, I feel, is unchristian,” she said.
Actress Nancy Lee Grahn was so triggered by the outdoor Christmas celebration she tagged the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department on Twitter and asked them to arrest Cameron.
