Update (1230ET): As of Sunday, there’s still no timeline given by the Suez Canal authorities about refloating the giant container ship stuck in the southern section of the canal.

Update (0947ET): Cairo bureau chief for the NYTimes, Vivian Yee, reports, “Suez Canal service provider ( @AgenciesLeth ) just said the next attempt to tug the ship out has been postponed from now until tonight’s high tide.”
Yee added: “…which makes sense, as the tide is currently so low people are walking in the middle of the Gulf of Suez.”
