This marks one of the most egregious lies government ever told to the American people, on par with George W. Bush’s WMD lie.
One year ago today, Joe Biden assured the American people that he won’t make vaccines mandatory in the U.S.
Biden made the false remarks on December 4, 2020 at press conference in Delaware.
“No, I don’t think it should be mandatory. I wouldn’t demand it be mandatory,” Biden said of the vaccines.
Biden officials like press secretary Jen Psaki and NIAID director Anthony Fauci echoed Biden’s remarks in the following months, even as recently as September.
Not even a year after that bold-faced lie, Biden has tried imposing vaccine mandates for healthcare workers, military personnel, and companies with over 100 employees.
This marks one of the most egregious lies a president ever told the American people, on par with former President George W. Bush’s “Weapons of Mass Destruction” lie that mired the U.S. into a decades-long conflict in the Middle East.
