Florida Gov. appears to be on verge of presidential announcement in massive insult to Trump, who made him politically.

‘You have basically three people at this point that are credible in this whole thing…Biden, Trump and me. And I think of those three…two have a chance to get elected president — Biden and me.’

Ron DeSantis claims he’s the only viable Republican candidate in the 2024 presidential race.

Despite not yet formally announcing a presidential bid, the Florida governor who was at one time endorsed by Donald Trump reportedly made the remarks in a recent call with donors, where he downplayed the former president’s electability.

“You have basically three people at this point that are credible in this whole thing,” DeSantis said according to the New York Times, adding, “Biden, Trump and me.”

“And I think of those three,” he continued, “two have a chance to get elected president — Biden and me, based on all the data in the swing states, which is not great for the former president and probably insurmountable because people aren’t going to change their view of him.”

DeSantis’ cavalier comments come amid reports a presidential announcement is soon forthcoming.

President Donald Trump, meanwhile, responded to news of DeSantis’ comments on Truth Social, writing, “Sorry, but Ron DeSanctimonious is UNELECTABLE, and everyone knows why. I’m leading Biden by 11 Points. RAN TWICE, WON TWICE, AND DID MUCH BETTER THE SECOND TIME (ELECTION WAS RIGGED!). MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
