Disney moving forward with its grooming initiative despite cratering favorability among parents nationwide.
Disney has launched a line of “Pride Collection” products, including LGBTQ pride-themed plush toys marketed to young children, amid nationwide pushback by parents.
In addition to the queer-themed plush toys made in partnership with the SquishMallows company are Disney characters like Mickey Mouse and franchises like Marvel and Star Wars emblazoned with the pride rainbow.
Disney will donate all proceeds from its Pride Collection to numerous LGBTQ advocacy groups like the Los Angeles LGBT Center and GLSEN, a group that pushes queer theory on K-12 students in schools.
From the Disney website:
The Disney Pride Collection was created by LGBTQIA+ employees and allies at The Walt Disney Company and is a reflection of their incredible contributions and place at the heart of the company. We stand in solidarity with our LGBTQIA+ community everywhere.
The Walt Disney Company will be donating all of our profits from the Disney Pride Collection sales now through June 30, 2022 to organizations that support LGBTQIA+ youth and families. This includes sales of Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars Pride Collection merchandise.
This comes amid the release of an NBC poll showing favorability for Disney nationwide has plummeted from 77% to 33% over the last year, highlighting the cost of going “woke.”
Disney was stripped of special tax jurisdiction in Florida last month after it vowed to oppose Gov. Ron DeSantis’ (R) Parental Rights in Education Bill preventing LGBT indoctrination of children from kindergarten to third grade.
The left’s woke LGBTQ agenda has become so extreme that it’s alienated many liberals, including HBO late night host Bill Maher, who claimed Friday that the transgender movement is “literally experimenting on children.”
