Following revelations that Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell was seduced by a Chinese spy (he’s refused to say whether they were intimate), the Daily Caller now reports that the California Congressman – who swore just last year that President Trump is a Russian agent – spoke at a 2013 event she helped organize.
The event was hosted by a group led by Chinese national Christine Fang, who US Intelligence told Axios worked undercover for China’s Ministry of State Security – its primary spying organization, from 2011 – 2015.
And who else spoke at that event organized by Fang? Dianne Feinstein’s Chinese spy!
The California State University, East Bay Chinese Student Association hosted both Swalwell and Russell Lowe, who then worked for Feinstein, at an event to commemorate the Chinese Lunar New Year on Feb. 9, 2013, according to the group’s Facebook page.
Photos from the event show Swalwell and Lowe speaking to a group of dozens of students at the event. The photo of Lowe shows him holding what appears to be a letter that Feinstein wrote to the student group for its celebration.
In 2018, Politico reported that Feinstein (now reported to be cognitively impaired) employed a Chinese spy for 20 years. Initially described as her driver, the spy was later identified by the Daily Caller as her office director, Russell Lowe.
It is unclear whether Lowe and Fang were aware of each others’ ties to the Chinese government, but according to the Axios report, Fang worked her magic on multiple California Democratic politicians, including Rep. Ro Khanna and Judy Chu.
More via the Daily Caller:
Fang first met Swalwell when he served on the city council in Dublin, California.
According to Axios, she raised money for Swalwell’s congressional reelection campaign in 2014 and placed an intern in his congressional office.
Swalwell was briefed by the FBI about Fang’s undercover activity in 2015. He said he cut off all contact with her after the briefing. Fang skipped the country in mid-2015.
Swalwell has refused to discuss the extent of his relationship with Fang, who Axios reported had romantic affairs with the mayors of two cities in the Midwest.
According to Swalwell, he can’t discuss the details of his ‘infiltration’ because they’re classified, and instead accused the Trump administration of leaking harmful information to damage his reputation.
